Lil' Mo' Maggie Organically Based Magnesium Lotion
Lil' Mo' Maggie was formulated for babies and children because they have delicate and sensitive skin and don't need quite as much magnesium as grown-ups do. We've added a lot of extra Shea butter to make it even more creamy! All the rich butters and oils in Lil' Mo' Maggie are certified ORGANIC and serve to give a more soothing application of Magnesium brine onto the skin. Applying magnesium to the skin is a superior way of getting Magnesium and trace minerals directly into the bloodstream and right to the cells where minerals are needed the most. In the beginning, apply to non-sensitive parts of of your baby's or child's skin. We strongly recommend applying TO THE BOTTOMS OF THE FEET to begin, to allow your baby/child to build up their mineral levels and overcome any sensitivity (which can show as tingling/itching/stinging. If any stinging occurs, product can be rinsed off but it's best to leave it on at least 20-30 minutes for mineral absorption to occur properly. As time goes on and the product is used daily, any sensitivity should abate and the lotion can be introduced elsewhere. Remember, all minerals are a salt, which can be irritating to skin (which is why we added the minerals to our lotion, so it would be less irritating). Never rub on hands because your baby/child may rub his/her eyes, causing stinging. Avoid eyes, mucous membranes, and sensitive areas. Rinse hands after application to avoid rubbing eyes.
Ingredients: Pure Magnesium Chloride/Trace Minerals mined from the ancient underground Zechstein seabed in The Netherlands, Purified water, Organic Shea Fruit Butter (fair trade, Sustainably sourced), Emulsifying Wax NF (very mild, vegan emulsifier), Glyceryl Stearate (very natural emulsifier and skin conditioner - with excellent safety rating on the EWG Skin Deep Database), Organic cold-pressed virgin Sunflower oil, Organic Argan Seed Butter (considered "Liquid Gold" or the 'Rolls Royce' of skin oils), VegeCide (Glyceryl Monoundecylenate) an extremely pure and natural preserving medium that's approved by EcoCert, NPA and NaTrue standards, Organic Glycerin, Organic Prickly Pear Seed Oil (another high end, beneficial skin oil), Organic Cold Pressed Virgin Hemp Seed Oil, Xanthan Gum (very natural thickener derived by fermenting sugar), and L-Arginine (a natural amino acid that helps us create a perfect Ph in our lotions).
